It has a robust and linear architecture, which allows for very simple maintenance and repairs, if necessary, that can be carried out by most technicians or general maintenance personnel.
Modular or frame-mounted system
The watermaker consists of separate modules that can be installed to make the best use of the space available on the boat. The component table shows the space requirements. The individual modules are supplied pre-assembled and tested in the laboratory. The cables and pipes required for the system are also supplied. The watermaker can also be supplied pre-assembled on a metal frame (the most suitable option for land-based use).
Installation
The installer must position the watermaker modules onboard the boat, connect the pipes and cables, and carry out the final test, as described in the installation manual. A sea water intake (below the waterline) and a sea drain (above the waterline) are required. A 230V AC generator capable of supplying continuous power equal to or greater than that indicated in the table is required. Similar operations are required for installation for land use.
Warranty
The warranty is valid for 24 months from the date of purchase and, in order for it to be valid, the installation and testing report must be returned, duly completed by the installer.
